Exam Pattern

  • The question paper consists of three sections viz Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and each section will have 50 MCQs of 50 marks.
  • Question paper will be available in both Hindi as well as English languages.
  • There will be also provision of negative marking. For each wrong answer, 1/4th marks will be deducted from the total score.

JEECE 2024 Application Form with Application Fee 


The important information related to the application fee is listed below for the reference of the applicants:

  • Once the application form is filled successfully applicants need to pay the application fee.
  • As application fee is a part of the application process which is important.
  • Applicants can pay the application fee in online mode by debit card, credit card or internet banking features.
  • Applicants who belong to general category need to pay Rs 900/- as application fee.
  • Reserved category applicants are instructed to pay Rs 450/- as application fee for the exam.
  • Applicants are instructed to pay the application fee before the due date.

JEECE 2020 Eligibility

Candidates can find below the minimum eligibility requirements to apply for JEECE 2020:

  • Nationality: A candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • Domicile: A candidate must have a local or permanent residential certificate of the Jharkhand State.
  • Age Criteria: There is no age limit for B.E./B.Tech courses. The minimum age required to apply for JEECE is 17 years.
  • Qualifying Exam: An aspirant must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board. Appearing candidates can also apply for the exam.
  • Subjects: Should have passed 10+2 exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/Biotechnology / Biology / Technical as one of the Vocational subject.
  • Minimum Marks: At least 45% marks in case of general category and 40% marks in case of the reserved category, in the qualifying exam.
  • Physical Fitness: A medical test will be conducted by the board. Candidates must pass the medical test to be eligible for admission.

JEECE 2024 Results

The results will be released in May 2024. The answer key of the entrance examination will be released by the authority along with the results. Merit list will be prepared by the authority for the qualifying candidates. It will be based on the marks of the candidates in the entrance test. Applicants who score more than the cut off marks will be qualifying the entrance examination. Applicants will be able to check their results online and are suggested to download the results for future reference.

JEECE Counselling 2024

The candidates will be called for the counselling round on the basis of rank secure by the candidate in the examination. The counselling will be conducted in two rounds.

At the time of documents verification, candidates have to produce their original certificates. If the candidate will fail to present the original documents at the time of counselling then, their admission will be cancelled. The admission will be offered to the candidates those qualifying the written examination.
