Chhattisgarh pre Engineering Test (CG PET) will be conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB). It is a state level examination also referred as CG Vyapam. Through this exam, candidates can get admission in the field of Engineering & its branches as Diary Technology & Agriculture Engineering. Admission will be provided to the candidates in various Chhattisgarh known institutions and colleges. The candidates who have passed 10+2 with the Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and one of the technical vocational subjects can apply for CG PET 2024. Application Form (How to Apply)

• Applicants must visit the official website (www.cgvyapam.choice.gov.in) and search for the Entrance Exam link and then click on “Online application form for CG PET 2024.”
• The application form page will open, then candidates need to fill up the required details like educational details, contact details, and correspondence details correctly, which are mentioned in the application form.
• Candidates are requested to enter the valid A/C Number, Aadhar Number, and PAN Card Number in the application form.
• After filling up the form, applicants will receive a registration ID Number for CGPET Examination.
• Candidates need to upload the passport size photo and Signature & Thumb Impression in JPEG format, and the file size should not exceed 50KB.
• Candidates need to pay the required application fee and submit it.

CG PET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The CG PET 2024 Eligibility Criteria will be designed by the CG Board. The Criteria includes the qualification of students, age criteria, scores, etc.

• Nationality: Applying a candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• Domicile: He/she must be a resident of Chhattisgarh and should hold the domicile of the state.
• Qualification-
  • first of all, the aspirants must have passed their 10+2 from a recognised board /university.
  • Aspirants who would be appearing for their 12th class/ equivalent examination are also eligible for the examination.

CGPET 2024 Counselling

CGPET 2024 counselling procedure has started for JEE Mains qualifying candidates and state quota qualifying candidates. Round 3 of CGPET 2024 Counselling has started from November 03, 2024.  No call letter is sent to the applicant individually. The Counselling is held online. Candidates need to register online for CGPET Counselling procedure at Directorate of Technical Education website. . After registering, they need to fill the options of colleges according to their choice and rank. The seat will be allotted on the basis of options filled by candidates and availability of seat.

CG PET Admit card

• The CGPET admit card will be released in the month of June 2024.
• Candidates without admit card will not get the permission to enter the examination hall
• Yet, Candidates must preserve admit card until the admission procedure
• While the Admit card is just the Hall ticket for the entrance test, it doesn’t guarantee any admission.
• Candidates need to visit the examination a day prior to the examination
• Finally, Candidates must reach the examination hall 30 minutes prior to the exam

CG PET 2024 Result

The students who will appear for the CG PET 2024 exam can check the result from the official website. It is expected that the result will be announced in the month of May 2024. In addition to the result, the board will also release the merit list of the successful candidates for the different courses. The successful candidate will be allowed to participate in counselling processing.
