GCET 2024 Application Form

  • GCET 2024 Application Form will be made available via offline mode.
  • Candidates will be able to fill the application form from last week of March 2024.
  • The application form must be submitted at notified locations as per center opted on specified dates along with fee submission.
  • Candidates who will submit the late application fee will have to submit 1500/- extra charges along with application fee.
  • Candidates will be able to download the application form either from website or from the application center.
  • The application form will be accepted only after payment of application fee.
  • Along with all academic, basic, personal & communicational details candidates must also fix recent passport size photograph.

Application Fee:

  • The application fee will be  2000/-.
  • The application fee has to be submitted through demand draft drawn in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji, Goa, on any Scheduled Bank.

Exam Pattern: 

  • Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through Offline mode.
  • Exam duration: The duration of the exam will be of 2 hours.
  • Number of Questions: The paper will consist of 75 Questions.
  • Question Types: The question will be asked in Multiple Type of Questions (MCQs).
  • Marking Scheme: +1 marks will be allotted for each correct answer.

GCET Preparation Tips

  • The applicants must know the GCET exam pattern and syllabus of the paper.
  • Make a study timetable allotting a significant time to each subject and follow that schedule strictly.
  • Previous year question papers can be helpful hence consider this point also.

  • Give more time to the important topics and revise them time to time.

GCET Admit Card 2024

  • Candidates can obtain the admit card for GCET 2024 from the Admission Committee in person.
  • On the admit card, the important details related to the candidates and the exam will be mentioned.
  • While reporting to the exam center, the candidates must carry this admit card or else they won’t be able to appear for the exam.
  • Admit card should be preserved by the candidates as it will also be required at the time of admission.

GCET 2024 Result

  • The DTE will announce the result in May 3rd week 2024.
  • The candidate can check his or her result on the official website of DTE.
  • The aspirant can also check the result by visiting the DTE office.
  • The aspirant will not get any personal scorecard or mark sheet.
  • The scored marks of the candidate along with the merit list will be published on the website.
  • The selected candidate will be called for counselling and interview round.
  • The candidate must present in person in the counselling.
  • The candidate must carry all the necessary documents along with them during counselling

GCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Age criteria:
Applicants above the age of seventeen years area unit eligible to use for the examination.
There is no maximum age limit for the candidates.

  • Engineering courses: Candidates must be pass 10+2 with PCB and additional subjects like Chemistry, Biology, Computer science. Candidates must have scored 45% marks for the general group and 40% for SC/ST/PH Candidates.
  • B.Arch.: Candidates must be pass 10+2 with PCM. Candidates must have scored 50% marks for the general group and 45% for SC/ST/PH Candidates.
  • BHMS and AHS: Candidates must be pass 10+2 with PCB. Candidates must have scored 50% marks for the general group and 40% for SC/ST/PH Candidates.
  • B.SC. Nursing: Candidates must be pass 10+2 with PCB and English subjects. Candidates must have scored 50% marks for the general group and 40% for SC/ST/PH Candidates.
  • B.Pharm.: Candidates must be pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and English. Candidates should have an additional subject in Mathematics, Biology, and Computer Science.

Counseling:

The GCET Counseling process will start after the result declaration. Counseling will be started from the last week of May 2024 via online mode. It will be mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in the counseling process. After submission of the admission form, candidates will be called for the counseling process. Candidates will also have to bring original as well as photo-stated documents for verification & submission.
