ULSAT is managed and organized by the University of petroleum and energy studies. The test allows admission for the various law examinations.  The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) of Dehradun conducts its own entrance exam called the UPES Legal Studies Aptitude Test (ULSAT) for its law admissions. The exam is organised annually for shortlisting students who apply for admission to the integrated law courses offered at UPES Dehradun. These courses include B.A. LL.B, BBA LL.B, BSc LL.B, B.Com LL.B, and BTech LL.B. The university has declared that ULSAT 2024 will be held in the online mode. ULSAT is the UPES Law School Admission Test for admission to 5 years LLB programs offered by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies. The entrance examinations for admissions to various law courses are held in computer-based test (CBT) mode.

How to fill ULSAT 2024 Application Form?

UPES has released the ULSAT 2024 Application Form on the official website. However, University doesn’t make any official announcement regarding the Last dates of registrations. Candidates can check the following points regarding ULSAT 2024 Application Form:

How to Apply for ULSAT 2024:

step 1 – Visit the official website of UPES, i.e upes.ac.in.

Step 2 – Once on the official website, the students will need to complete the registration. within the registration form, the students will need to provide information like the Name, Email Address, mobile number, state, city, course, etc.

Step 3 – After filling the above details, the students must carefully read the terms and conditions after and accept the same to proceed.

Step 4 – the web site will send a one time OTP to the given mobile number by the candidates. Students are going to be required to enter the same to urge access to the application form.

Step 5 – Now the students will need to fill the details within the application form. Details like the academic details, form details, and also the payment details.

Step 5 – After filling the required details within the application for the students will need to submit the application fee as given below. It must be noted that the application fee is as per the last year. However, i is predicted to remain similar for this year also.

Exam Pattern:

There will be a total of 200 questions in the test and all these will be multiple-choice questions. The medium of language will be English and the duration will be 3 hours. The total marks will be 150 and 1 marks will be allotted for each of these questions.. There will be no negative marking.

ULSAT 2024 Exam Pattern

For LLB courses:

• The applicants need to clear their class 12^th exam with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.  A pass in class 10^th with at least 50% marks is required as well.

For LLM course:

• A minimum of 50% marks in class 10^th and 12^th is also required. LLB degree program from a recognized university scoring at least 50% marks in aggregate

Application fee:

• The candidates need to pay an amount of Rs. 1850/- as ULSAT application fee.
• Online payment of application fee can be done via net banking or debit card/ credit card.

ULSAT Result 2024

• Result of the online exam will be displayed on the official website of the university.
• Using their roll number and other details, the candidates will be able to check their result online.
• Those who clear the online exam will have to appear for group discussion and personal interview round.
• A merit list of the candidates will be prepared once they clear the interview round as well.
• Candidates will then have to participate in the further rounds of admission as per their names in this list.

Examination Center

University has a well-defined examination center. In the examination paper, there is the 150 objectives type question and the duration to solving the question paper is 3 hours only. There are five subjects that are considered in the entrance exam that are Numerical Ability, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, Legal General Knowledge and Legal Aptitude.

Admit Card

ULSAT 2024 admit card will be generated immediately after the slot booking process which will start from April 18, 2024. Candidates have to enter their application number and date of birth to download ULSAT admit card 2024.

• Download the admit card and take printout.
