UG Courses

  • Admission to BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) is based on CLAT scores
  • Final selection of students is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam
  • BVoc admissions are merit-based
  • Final selection of students is based on the scores obtained in the qualifying exam and their performance in Personal Interview (PI)

LLM Course

  • A valid score in CLAT is required for admission to LLM programme
  • Final selection of students is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam

MPhil/ PhD Courses

  • Admission to MPhil and PhD courses is based on UGC NET/ JRF/ NLUO Research Entrance Test (NLUORET) scores
  • Final selection of students is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam and their performance in the presentation of research proposal

Selection Procedure

  • The candidates under Foreign National Category shall be admitted directly on the basis of their 10+2/Intermediate marks.
  • The merit list of Foreign Nationals will be determined on the basis of their 10+2 marks. If there is a tie, then the marks of 10th standard will be taken into consideration

  • Three copies of the proposed research topic (10 Pages) of a contemporary issue with the broad framework of Law & related subjects
  • Demand draft of INR 3000 drawn in favor of “Registrar National Law University Odisha”
  • Attested photocopies of eligibility qualification certificates and mark sheets
  • One set of published papers, monographs, articles & books (if applicable)
  • Certificate from the Institution concerned testifying the length of service (if required)
