National Insurance Academy- NIA Pune

National Insurance Academy (NIA) is located in Pune (earlier in Mumbai). It was established in 1980 jointly by the Ministry of Finance – Government of India, Life Insurance Corporation of India, General Insurance Corporation of India, The New India Assurance Company, National Insurance Company, United India Insurance Company and The Oriental Insurance Company. It is approved by AICTE. The minimum educational qualification required is a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration or its equivalent in any discipline from a university in India recognized by UGC or Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with a minimum of 50% marks.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the institute and click on the ‘Menu’ button.
Step 2: Click on ‘Admission’ and then on ‘How to Apply’.
Step 3: In the next window that opens up, click on ‘CLICK HERE’ to proceed to the registration process.
Step 4: Register with basic details such as name, contact number and email-id.
Step 5: The application form window now appears on the screen with details around the MBA application feee
Step 6: The application form now opens up with four sections.
Step 7: Fill all the personal details and upload a scanned copy of the passport-size photograph according to the dimensions mentioned in the application form. Click on ‘Save and Next’ at the bottom of the page
Step 8: Make payment via any mode of online payment, and click on submit.

Hostel accommodation shall be provided on merit as mentioned below:
  1. Girl students as per their merit
  2. SC/ST/DA/OBC-NC students as per their merit
  3. Remaining students in the order of their overall score in the merit list.
