UG Eligibility Criteria

• The minimum eligibility for the same is the passing of class 12th from any stream.

Selection Criteria

• The selection of the eligible candidate will be done on the merit in the Entrance test obtained by the candidate followed by counselling process.

PG Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor degree of minimum 4-year duration in any specialization, after 12th standard or equivalent to 12th standard
• Bachelor degree of minimum 3-year duration in any specialization, after 12th standard or equivalent to 12th standard.
• Full-time Diploma of minimum 4-year duration in Design/Fine Arts/Applied Arts/ Architecture, after 12th standard or equivalent to 12th standard.

NID Ahmedabad Ph.D. Admission 2024

• A Master’s level qualification in Design,
• A Bachelor’s level qualification in Design from NID,
• A minimum of 3 years of professional or teaching experience.
• Master’ s degree in Philosophy(eg, M.Phil) in Design

General Eligibility:

• Nationality: Indian and foreign nationals overseas are eligible to apply.
• Appearing: Candidates appearing in their qualifying exam are also eligible to apply provided they have to submit proof of passing during admission.
• Age Limit for B.Des/GDPD: Applying candidate maximum age should be 20 years as of 30 June 2021. ST/SC/OBC candidates will get three years of age relaxation while PwD will get five years of age relaxation.
• Age Limit for M.Des: The candidate’s maximum age limit should be 30 years as of 30 June 2021. ST/SC/OBC candidates will get three years of age relaxation while PwD will get 5 years of age relaxation.

NID Ahmedabad Application Process 2024

To apply for the B.Des course at NID Ahmedabad, candidates must follow the below-mentioned process:

• Register/Sign up
• Candidates need to register or sign up on the official site of the institute with a valid email address and an active mobile number.
• Login credentials will be sent to the candidate’s registered email address.
• Save the email for future reference.
• Application Fee for General/General-EWS/OBC-NCL categories shall be Rs 200

NID Entrance Exam 2024 Merit List

Based on the DAT Prelims scores, the official authority will prepare the separate merit lists for each category. Only shortlisted candidates will be eligible to appear for the DAT Mains exam as per the schedule announced by the officials. The merit list will be published by the officials after few days of the written examination through online mode.

NID Examination Pattern:

• There will be the proviso for only one paper in DAT
• The exam duration will be for 3 hours
• The question paper will appear in the English language only
• The questions will appear in Multiple Choice Questions type. Along with these subjective questions will appear
