Manonmaniam Sundaranar University is a university in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It was hived off the Madurai Kamaraj University on 7 September 1990. The motto of the university is “In Pursuit of Excellence”. It is named after the Tamil scholar/professor Manonmaniam Sundaram Pillai. The motto of the University is “Reaching the Unreached”.
