Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University is a university in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India. It opened in 1987 and is named after the philosopher Maharshi Dayananda Saraswati. Apart from being an affiliating university, the University was supposed to support teaching and research in its affiliated colleges. Later, as per the requirement of UGC, teaching departments were created at the campus in March 1990 and teaching was introduced during academic session 1991-92 with some non conventional and professional postgraduate courses. B.Ed –

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 50% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC/SBC/Physically Challenged/ Widow)

B.Sc

• Intermediate graduate with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/SBC/Physically Challenged/ Widow)

B.tech

• Class 12 with Science stream and Mathematics as a compulsory subject
• JEE Main/ REAP

MSc

• BSc with 50% aggregate with Chemistry as one of the optional subjects

MCom

• 48% marks at graduate level (36% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SBC)

MCA

• BCA/ BSc (CS/ IT)/ vocational or graduate from any discipline with maths as one of the subjects with at least 50% aggregate

MBA (Business Economics)

• Qualifying Exam – CMAT/  CAT/MAT/RMAT
• Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in any discipline with 50% aggregate

MSW

• Graduation with atleast 48% marks

LLM

• 55% marks in LLB or PG Diploma in Law with LLB

PhD

• Qualifying Exam – RET
• Master’s degree with at least 50% marks in PG

MPhil

• Qualifying Exam – AET
• Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55%

MDSU Application Process

1. Visit the official website and click on online admission portal link
2. Do the registation by filling in all the desired information
3. Pay the application fee of Rs 300 through Challan
4. Click on ‘Fill Application Form’ and enter the Challan Number, Transaction Number and Date of Birth and click on ‘Next’ button.
5. After submitting the application, print the application form

UG courses

• For admission to BTech, candidates must have a valid JEE Main/REAP score
• For admission to B.Ed, it is important that candidates have a valid score in Pre-Teachers Entrance Test conducted by the University
• For admission to LLB, candidates must have a valid CLAT score
• For admission to BDS, candidates must have a valid NEET UG score
• Admission to other UG courses will be done on the basis of merit
