IPU PHD Eligibility Criteria
Physics/Chemistry/English/Mathematics
- Master‘s degree in a relevant stream or a professional degree declared equivalent to the master‘s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body with a minimum of 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates)
- Qualified in CSIR NET/ UGC NET-JRF – MPhil degree holders from an Indian institution or from a Foreign Educational Institution accredited by the NAAC are granted direct admissions
Information Technology/ Computer Science and Engineering/ Computer Applications..
- MTech in CSE/ Computer Systems/ IT/ IS or equivalent with a minimum of 60%
- OR
- MCA/ MCA in SE or equivalent three-year degree after graduation
- Qualified in IPU CET/ GATE in CS/ IT or possess a valid certificate of UGC JRF in Computer Application
Mass Communication
- Master‘s Degree in relevant stream or equivalent from a recognised institute/ university
- Qualified in CSIR NET/ UGC NET-JRF
