Nationality / Citizenship:

• Applicants be either:
• A Citizen of India or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or
• A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the purpose of everlastingly settling in India or
• A person of is of Indian origin who has migrate from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries with the objective of permanently settling in India

Process to apply for GATE 2024 

Candidates may fill the Online GATE Registration Form , you need to carefully before starting GATE Online Registration 2024.

Step1: GOAPS Registration/ GOAPS Login

• Visit the official web portal that is “gate.iitg.ac.in”.
• On the main home page you need to press on the “GOAPS” link available in ‘Quick Links’ section 
• Already registered students are required to go for GATE Login 2024 Link.
• New users need  to press GATE Registration link 
• Enter asked information in the format.
• Afterwards you will receive ID and Password For GATE 2024 Login.
• Login your ID with the help of generated Password.

Step2: Filling of GATE Application Form

• Fill GATE 2024 Application Form.
• Press on the “Start the GATE 2024 application” button and proceed.
• Upload their eligibility official document, Category official document, scanned photo, sign and thumb impression.

Step3: Payment of GATE Application Fees

• After that, deposit fees through online (net banking or debit/ credit card).
• At the end, download Copy of form by pressing on to “Download Application Form” button.

Step4: Submission of Filled GATE Application Form

• Submit GATE form on the official web portal.
• Fills-in all the information in GOAPS without any error.
• GATE Online Application Form is accountable to be rejected if there is an error, so you have to recheck twice and then submit form.

How to Download GATE Admit Card 2024

The applicants can download the GATE admit card by following the procedure mentioned below for them and they have to follow it.

• Firstly, candidates must have to visit on the official website of GATE.
• Candidates should have to click on the link of the admit card available on the official website.
• They have to log in on the official website by entering the GATE enrollment ID, or registered email ID, password, and captcha.
• After entering the details, candidates should have to submit it and the admit card will display to the candidates.
• Applicants can download and save the admit card and also take the print out of it.
• Candidates have to check all details mentioned on the admit card before downloading.

What to do if you had Forgot GATE Enrolment ID and Password?

• Visit the GATE official website www.gate.iitd.ac.in
• Click on “Forgot Enrolment ID or password” button in the page.
• There will be two options for the candidates to choose from. The first one is you remember your enrolment ID or email address and had forgot the password and the second one is that you don’t remember both and request for OTP code.
• When candidates choose the first option, students will be sent with the link to create a password to their email address after which the candidate can reset the password.
• If you had chosen the second option of requesting an OTP, the OTP code will be sent to the registered mobile number. Students have to proceed with resetting the password using this option.

GATE 2024: Other Details

The examination answer key will be released on the official GATE website after the exam is conducted. This year GATE score formula will also be used to calculate the final score.

The result will also be declared on the official website on March 16, 2024. Students are advised to carry their required stationary and ID card and check any other details on the official GATE IIT Delhi website gate.iitd.ac.in.
