DNB CET 2024 is an entrance examination commenced twice in a year.  This national entrance test is completely managed by the National Board of Examination (NBE). The aim of the examination is to proffer admission into posts like -DNB/MD/MS Super Specialty courses. Sometimes, it is also called Diplomate National Board Centralized Entrance Test-Super Specialties (DNB-CET SS).

Eligibility Criteria

Here are the eligibility criteria that an applicant need to fulfill in order to apply for the DNB CET 2024/ NEET PG exam.

• The candidates must have an MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass certificate recognized by the Indian Medical Council.
• Every applicant also needs to have a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI)/ State Medical Council.
• Should have completed the internship on or before the 31^st March 2024.

Way To Fill The Application Form 

Application forms for DNB CET are available only online at www.cet.natboard.edu.in. It should be noted the application form cannot be printed or submitted in any other way. The candidate must first thoroughly go through the information brochure before filling out the application form. In theory, the registration form will be available from Friday, November to Friday, November.

• Application form available twice in the month of May 2024.
• The application form students can fill up the through online mode only.
• If students have to fill up the application form incomplete, the authority will cancel the examination form.
• Candidates choose the exam centers per near wise city.
• After the submission of the test center, candidates cannot change it.
• Candidates take the printout of the DNB CET 2024 application form for future use.

Application Fee

Admit Card:

• The admit card is also provided via online mode. Download the admit card using details such as username and password.
• The admit card will be released in the second week of December 2024 for the January session.
• The admit card for the July session will be released in the third week of June 2024. Make sure to take print of the admit card.
• Carry the following documents along with the admit card to the exam center.
• A printed copy of the Admit Card with photograph pasted on it.
• Photocopy of the Permanent or Provisional SMC/MCI registration.
• Anything amongst PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, and Aadhar Card.

How to Download the Admit Card?

Candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps to download DNB CET 2024:

1. Visit the official website of NBE.
2. Enter DNB CET 2024 application No. and the opted examination name.
3. Admit card will be displayed on the screen and candidates will then be redirected to the download webpage.
4. Click on Download admit card of DNB CET 2024 link.
5. Download and save the respective admit card.

DNB CET 2024 Result

• Result of the CET will be published on the official website of NBE www.nbe.edu.in.
• Candidates who obtain the specified minimum percentile shall be declared as qualified.
• The mark sheet cum result certificate of the exam can be downloaded from the website after result declaration.
• There will be no provision for re-checking or re-evaluation of the answers.
• Based on the marks secured by the candidates in the test, merit list will be prepared for counseling.

Merit List 2024:

• Candidates who obtain a minimum score as per category below shall be declared as “Qualified” in DNB CET and issued a PASS /QUALIFYING Certificate.
• a. General Category–50% score
• b. SC/ST/OBC–40% score c
• . Persons with Disability–45% score

DNB CET Counselling 2024

National Board of Examinations conducts NBE CET counselling Post MBBS specialty courses. There are two categories of Post MBBS courses, one for 3 years duration and the other for 6 years duration. NBE conducts centralized counselling for all the participating institutes on the basis of NEET PG scores. The counselling involves a various processes.

Seat Allotment

1. Candidates who have qualified the NEET PG 2021 and have participated in the first round of counselling will be allotted seat by the authorities.
2. The seats are allotted to candidates after the counselling session is over.
3. Candidates who are satisfied with the seats allotted will need to confirm and lock the seats by completing the payment of first year fee.
4. Candidates who have been allotted seats and have not locked or confirmed the seats will move to the next round of counselling.
5. The seats allotted to them will also be marked as vacant.
