The Central University of Jharkhand came into being under this Act on 1st of March, 2009. CUJ offers admission in various courses of UG Courses- B.A., B.Ed., B.Sc., PG Courses- M.A, M.Sc, M.Tech, MBA and Other Courses- Ph.D., etc. University focuses on relevant present age educational drives with an emphasis on research in cutting-edge technologies. The temporary campus of CUJ is situated in the capital city of Jharkhand, Ranchi. The University has its 45 acres vibrant green campus at Brambe, Ranchi. It is only 25 Kms away from the Ranchi city. The University has its permanent campus at Cheri-Manatu that is 10 kms away from the Ranchi city. The new campus of CUJ is under construction.

How to fill CUCET 2024 Application Form?
- Visit the official website and open the CUCET application form.
- Now, fill in the required information asked in the application form such as Personal Information, General Information, Educational details, Phone no. & email ID.
- Candidates need to be very careful while filling the application form.
- After filling in the information click on the ‘Submit button.
- Candidates need to upload their scanned photographs & signatures in jpg/ jpeg format.
- After providing all the information and documents proceed to the fee payment.
- Finally, submit the application form and take the printout of the application form for further use.

Programmes
Central University of Jharkhand offers the 5-year integrated programme in Business Administration. The students are provided with all the compulsory specializations. The admission to the MBA course offered by CUJ will be done on the basis of the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET).
CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF JHARKHAND ENTRANCE EXAMS 2024
- For M.Tech candidates seeking admission in M.Tech need to appear in an entrance exam known as Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) followed by an interview organized and conducted by the university. GATE-qualified candidates need not appear in the entrance exam
- For LLM candidates seeking admission in LLM need to appear in an entry-level exam known as Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) followed by an interview organized and conducted by the university
- For MBA candidates seeking admission in MBA need to appear in an entrance exam known as Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) followed by an interview organized and conducted by the university. CAT-qualified candidates need not appear in the entrance exam.

M.Tech. Programs
The university offers five specializations in modern-day M.Tech programs such as in Water Engineering & Management, Energy Engineering, Nanotechnology, Computer Science & Technology, and Transport Science & Technology. Admission to these courses is based upon GATE and CUCET entrance exams score. Aspirants with a valid UG Degree in the relevant B.Tech program with a minimum of 55% of aggregate marks can apply for admissions.
M.A. in (Human Rights & conflicts /Tribal Law & Governance /Folkloristics/Vocal Music/Theater):
- There are 20 seats in each of the programs referred above except Tribal & Governance Law which has 15 seats only.
- The candidate must have a Graduation degree in a field with a minimum of 55% marks for general category students and 50% marks for SC/ST students.
