BLDE Association was established in 1910. It is committed to the cause of imparting quality education from primary to university in the backward region of North Karnataka. The Association is nurtured and shaped by great visionaries – Dr. P. G. Halakatti known as ‘Vachana Pitamah’ in Kannada Literature, Shri Shri Sanganabasaveshwar Maha Shivayogigalu of Banthanal, a great religious leader and Dr. B. M. Patil, a great statesman. Presently, the Association is guided by Dr. M. B. Patil, a young and dynamic leader. BLDE University (Deemed to be University) offers MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) and B.Sc. Medical Imaging Technology (MIT) at the undergraduate level. The duration of MBBS program is 5 years 6 month and B.Sc. is 3 years program.

10+2 qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology (PCB) subjects with English as a compulsory subject. The candidates must have passed these subjects individually

MD/MS/MBBS Degree with minimum 55% marks in the qualifying exam

Important Dates for BLDE University Admission

Exam pattern of BLDE University PGET

The post graduate examination structured by the BLDE University comprises of 180 objective type questions. The candidate has to complete the examination within limited time of 180 minutes duration. They have to enter the right answers in the OMR sheet provided. A right answer will be rewarded with one mark. There won’t be any sort of negative markings for the wrong ones.

Syllabus for BLDE UGET

BLDE UGET consists of questions from Chemistry, Physics, and Biology subjects of 11th and 12th approved by the Pre University board of Karnataka. The Physics paper will comprise of topics such as introduction and measurement of waves and physical structures, motion description of one dimension, description of 2 and 3 dimensional motions, current electricity, electrostatics, magnetism, etc. The Chemistry paper includes topics like Hydrocarbons, introduction to P-block elements, etc. The portions included in Biology paper are growth and movement in plants, composition and function of various living organisms, genetics, evolution, ecology, reproduction, etc.
