Admission Procedure
- Step-1: The admission conducting authority (Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada) releases notification on B.Sc. nursing admission.
- Step-2: The online application to be filled and submitted by uploading all required documents.
- Step-3: Merit list will be published based on the marks obtained in science subjects (PCB) in the 10+2 level or its equivalent examination.
- Step-4: Based on the merit list students will be called for verification of certificates and the admission is carried out based on the counseling. The date of the counseling and counseling centers will be announced by the Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences.
AP B.Sc. Nursing 2024 Application Fee
The important information about the application fee is mentioned below for the reference of the applicants:
- Applicants who belong to a general category or OBC category need to pay Rs 2360/- as an application fee for the entrance exam.
- However, BC/SC/ ST category applicants need to pay Rs 1888/- as an application fee for the entrance exam.
- Applicants can pay the Application fee through challan in any SBI branch.

Exam Pattern
- The AP B.Sc examination will be held online i.e. (Computer Based Test).
- The total exam duration will be 90 minutes.
- Questions will be Multiple Choice Questions.
- Total 100 questions with 1 mark each will be there.
- The exam does not hold any negative marking.
B.Sc. Nursing 2024 Selection Process
- The selection will be made by the Selection Committee appointed by the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences.
- To choose candidates for admission, authorities will release a merit list on the basis of qualifying exam marks.
- Please note that there will be different merit lists for admission B.Sc. Nursing (4 year course) and Post Basic B.S. Nursing (2 year course)
- At the time of preparing the merit list, authorities will follow the reservation policy of the state government.
Merit List:
The official authorities will declare the results online in the official website. It is necessary for the candidate to visit the official website and then check out the results. The candidate will have to enter the roll number and the date of birth in order to view the result. The candidate will then be able to download the result from the website. The candidates will only get admission if they have secured the desired marks in the examination.
BSc Nursing Admission 2024: Counselling
- After you have been shortlisted for BSc nursing admission on the basis of your score in the entrance test, you are required to go through a round of admission counseling.
- Counseling is nothing but submission of important documents such as certificates of previous examinations, personal ID proofs, BSc Nursing application forms.
- The candidates are then asked to pay the admission fee within the scheduled date and accept the college admission.
