SBI Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Age limit

Candidates applying for the posts must be between 20 to 28 years of age as on August 1, 2024

Educational Qualification

Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 30.11.2024.

Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 30.11.2024.

SBI Clerk Notification 2024 Apply Online

The candidates are required to follow the steps to fill out the application form as per the SBI clerk notification 2024 pdf.

  1. Visit the official website of SBI and click the tab for new registration.
  2. After completing your registration, you will get a username and password to your registered mobile number and email Id.
  3. Using those login credentials open your online application form. On the first page fill in all your personal details without any mistakes.
  4. Then fill in your educational qualification details and work experience if any. Don’t provide any fake details. Also don’t leave any mandatory fields empty.
  5. Then upload the scanned copies of your photograph and signature. All the uploaded documents must be within the prescribed format and size as mentioned in the SBI clerk notification 2024 pdf.
  6. Check the details before giving the final submit option.
  7. Then pay the online application fee through the debit card, credit card or net banking, etc.

Syllabus

SBI Clerk 2024 syllabus is divided into 2 phases i.e prelims and mains. The preliminary phase is an objective type test consisting of 2 sections whereas the mains consist of 5 sections. The SBI Clerk syllabus for the prelims exam includes English Language, Reasoning, and Numerical Ability. On the other hand, the SBI Clerk mains exam syllabus includes English, Quantitative Aptitude, Financial Awareness, Reasoning Ability, Static GK, and Computer Skills. The important topics covered in the SBI Clerk exam include reading comprehension, cloze test, fillers, sitting arrangement, puzzles, data interpretation, number series, syllogism, etc

  • Step 3: Enter the registration number or application number and password, then click on the login tab.

SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern

  • The SBI Clerk Prelims exam has 3 sections. There are a total of 100 questions carrying 100 marks.
  • The duration of the exam is 1 hour.
  • There is a negative marking in the Prelims exam. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • There is a separate timing for all the sections.
  • There is no sectional cutoff for this exam.
  • After qualifying for this exam, the candidates become eligible to appear in the Mains exam.
