Educational Qualification
JOT Civil: Must have a three-year diploma/degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
JOT Electrical: Must have a three-year diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or institution with an Electrical Supervisory Certificate (Mining) of Competency.
JOT Mechanical: Must have a three-year diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
JOT Mining: Must have a three-year diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized university or institution with Foreman’s Certificate of Competency to open cast metalliferous mines.
JOT G & QC: Must have M.Sc / M.Sc (Tech) / M.Tech in Geology / Applied Geology / Exploration Geology from a recognized university or institution.
JOT Survey: Must have three years Diploma in Mining or a Diploma in Mines and Mine Surveying with Mine Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency under MMR.
