Selection Procedure for Banking Exams

There is a detailed and well-structured process involved in the selection for the posts such as IBPS PO, RRB, Clerk, and SO.

The selection process for banking exams involve two levels:

  • Written part( Prelims and Mains)

  • Personal Interview

Eligibility Criteria for Every Bank Exam

SBI PO Exam

  • Educational Qualification: Graduation or any equivalent degree
  • Age limit 21 to 30 years
  • Age Relaxation SC/ST- 5 years
  • OBC (NCL)- 3 years
  • The number of attempts: UR/EWS –4
  • OBC- 7
  • SC/ST – No Limit
  • Citizen of India
  • The subject of Nepal or Bhutan
  • Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement.

Age Relaxation Category Wise

  • General Category 0 years
  • Scheduled Caste(SC) 5 years
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) 5 years
  • People affected by the 1984 riots 5 years
  • Kashmiri Migrants 5 years
  • Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) 3 years
  • PWD (Gen/EWS) 10 years
  • PWD (SC/ST) 15 years
  • PWD (OBC) 13 years
  • Ex-servicemen, ECOs, SSCOs who have rendered 5 years of military service. 5 years

SBI PO Exam Pattern

Duration of Exam

  • For SBI PO Prelims: 1 Hour
  • For SBI PO Mains: 3 Hours

As per the SBI SO Eligibility guidelines on age limit, there is no minimum age limit for any of the posts released for the SBI SO 2021. However, the maximum age limit for each of the post is given below:
