HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1202w Review- Pros and Cons, Technical Specification Review, Features

The HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1202nw has been cleverly designed to take up as little space on your desk as possible. There’s room inside for 150 sheets of plain paper which actually project from the front of the machine and are enclosed by a removable piece of plastic. It’s an unusual way of doing things, but it does allow the printer to be shallower than other printers.

The first entry-level cartridge-less monochrome laser AIO, HP’s Neverstop Laser MFP 1202w delivers running costs well below its closest competitors. It’s a good choice for printing up to a couple thousand pages each month—without laying out a fortune on toner.

Rather than purchasing and swapping out big, bulky, and expensive cartridges each time the printer runs out of toner, with Neverstop, you fill a bin inside the machine from a replacement kit that holds approximately 2,500 prints, a process that takes just a few seconds.

the revolutionary HP Neverstop 1202w All-in-One Laser Printer get up to 7x more pages than in-class laser printers before your first toner reload and up to 5,000 pages of toner right out of the box. Easily handle business tasks with print, scan, and copy functions, easy mobile printing, and the HP Smart app  Stay connected from virtually anywhere with this monochrome laser printer’s wireless networking. Plus, this all-inone wireless printer has up to an 84% smaller environmental footprint, so you can get business done with the environment in mind.Prints up to 21 ISO ppm* in black.

It’s a multi-function device with an integrated scanner, so as well as printing at a maximum resolution of 600 x 600dpi, it can make copies and scan to your PC and other devices, also at resolutions up to 600 x 600dpi.

The device is quick off the mark when it comes to printing, too. From standby it can warm up and produce an initial print in 14 seconds. It was also fast when producing a single mono copy, which took 13 seconds. This is better than most laser printers but inkjets are, typically, even faster.

Inkjet printers that use refillable tanks tend to be rather big and bulky, as the tanks are often simply bolted onto the side of the printer. However, HP’s Neverstop printers look much more like conventional lasers. All models share the same basic design, measuring 380mm wide and 294mm deep. The single-function models stand just 211mm high, while the scanner unit that sits atop the multifunction models increases the height to 287mm. They’re all very compact, though, and should sit comfortably on a desk or nearby shelf without taking up too much space if you’re working from home.
