About SET

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) gets conducted by Symbiosis International for admission of eligible applicants into Symbiosis institutes. SET exam 2023 will be held in the first week of  May 2023, at all exam centers. SET exam is a gateway for admissions to UG courses such as Management, Law, Engineering, Economics, Design, Mass Communication, Computer Studies, Liberal Arts and Culinary Arts. 

Symbiosis (SET) 2023 Registration will be start soon. Exam will be conducted by Symbiosis International University. Symbiosis SET is a university level exam which gets organized every year to offer admission to fascinated applicants  into various UG and Integrated courses.

Symbiosis SET 2023 Application Form

  • Applicants need go through below given details regarding the Symbiosis SET 2023 Application Form:
  • Application Form for Symbiosis SET 2023 will soon going to released from Third week of January 2023in online mode on the website.
  • Applicants need to register online from Third week of January 2023 to Second week of April 2023 with details like email ID, name, mobile no. etc.
  • Applicants should make sure that they enter the correct and accurate details in the form.
  • While filling up form online, upload their photograph and make fee payment.
  • Any alteration in form will only be entertained only up to final date of registration 
  • No changes shall be allowed after final date under any situation.

Application Fee:

Applicants need to pay Rs.1750 as application fee.

Mode of fee Payment: 

Application fee payment can be done through online mode – debit card, credit card or net banking.

Applicants can choose the mode of the payment as DD drawn in favor of ‘Symbiosis Test Secretariat’ payable at Pune.

Symbiosis SET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Symbiosis SET eligibility criteria for some courses are given below:

Nationality:

Indians/ NRIs/ Foreign Nationals (FN) OCI/ Person of Indian origin (PIO) are eligible to apply for the exam.

For B.Tech:

  • Qualifying Exam: Passed 12th exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject.
  • Percentage Required: Applicants must scored minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved candidate) in qualifying exam.

For BA LLB/BBA LLB:

  • Qualifying Exam: Passed 12th level from a recognized board.
  • Percentage Required: Scored minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved candidate).
  • Appearing: Appearing in the class 12th are also eligible to apply.

For BCA:

  • Qualifying Exam: Passed Class 12th with recognized board or hold a 3 year diploma from a recognized university.
  • Percentage Required: Scored minimum 50% marks.
  • Appearing: Appearing in class 12th or in final year of diploma can also apply.

Symbiosis SET 2023 Admit Card

Symbiosis SET 2023 Admit card for various entrance test will be released SET from third week of April 2023. To download it, students have to enter their login credentials. It is obligatory for applicant to carry a hard copy of admit card to the exam centre.

Symbiosis SET 2023 Result

Symbiosis SET 2023 Result will be announced in the second week of May 2023. Applicants will be able to download their result online by entering their user id and password.

Symbiosis SET 2023 Exam Pattern

  • Papers: Symbiosis SET 2023 exam comprises of 4 different papers -SLAT/SET/SEED/SITEEE.
  • Time Duration:  2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • Total Number of Questions:  150 questions.
  • Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions.
  • Sessions: There will be two sessions i.e. morning session and after noon 
  • Exam Mode: Online mode.
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each right answer 
  • Negative Marking: No provision for negative marking in the test.
